School Production
We Will Rock You produced by the cast of 2008 saw pupils from year 7 to year 10 rock each night away with a variety of Queen's classic hits.
The time is the future, in a place that was once called Earth. Globalisation is complete! Everywhere the kids watch the same movies, wear the same fashions and think the same thoughts. Music is banned. Globalsoft have control. Resistance is growing, the rebels known as 'Bohemians' believe in the legend of a hero that will bring back rock'n'roll. With the help of the bohemians, 'The Dreamer' and his 'Chick' fight to save the future of music.
The pupils of Dwr-y-Felin presented an exciting rendition of this West End hit with the talented year 10 pupil Laura Nedin playing the protagonist Scaramouche and year 8 star, Clement Jones playing Galileo. They were supported by an amazing cast, crew and band who all did themselves proud!
The show however would not have been possible without all of the help and support of collegues, senior staff and parents. A big thankyou to everyone involved!
We look forward to seeing what other talent presents itself to us next year as we embark on a new venture in presenting the classic production of Grease.
