Welcome to the Physical Education Department section of the school web site.
In this section you will find information on two separate areas of Physical education in school.
Firstly, there are the results and successes of our school teams and individuals from the huge number of tournaments, competitions and matches played this year in a wide range of sports.
There is also our role of honour listing the pupils who have gone on to achieve representative selection at town, district, county or international level.
Secondly, there is a wealth of information about, and resources for, the examination courses in Physical Education that are taught in Dwr-Y-Felin.
These are as follows:
- The WJEC GCSE PE course.
- The WJEC PE Short Course.
- The BTEC First Certificate In Sport.
- The BTEC First Diploma In Sport (Performance).
If you are taking, or considering taking, one of these courses then you should read through these sections as they contain details of the courses, the curricula, the assignments, the examinations and lots of revision materials and PowerPoint presentations.
The Physical Education Department is committed to providing as many opportunities as possible for all pupils to take part in sport both competitively and recreationally during there time-tabled lessons and outside school hours. Look out for more exciting developments in the future.
